do you seek a therapeutic witness for your life?
Are you nagged by the vague sense that life is "missing something", despite having reached many of the milestones by which our culture measures success? Please know that therapy is not just for those in crisis or with severe mental illness -- therapy can be a way to enrich, illuminate, and deepen the life you already have, and a path along which you may find the deeper meaning you seek. Whether you are grappling with feeling stuck, inhibited, or stymied by self-sabotage, or you simply need a therapeutic witness while you navigate existential twists and turns, I am ready to support you as you work to "level up" your life.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with individuals who are seeking greater balance, harmony, and authenticity in their lives. My holistic approach embraces who you are as a whole person–mind, body, and soul. Many of my patients focus on deepening their spiritual, creative, and professional lives -- coming to terms with their own spirituality after a religious upbringing that was not a good fit, aligning their work with their values, rediscovering repressed creativity, reckoning with childhood wounds that continue to haunt them, and many more -- all tasks incredibly worthy of being worked through in therapy.
If you choose to work with me, I will listen to your story from the very beginning and probably ask you questions you have never been asked before. This orientation at the roots of one's life story helps to establish a more compassionate awareness of one's present position, as well as cultivate a mindful awareness that will help you in recognizing those moments in which you can make different choices as the future unfolds.
I believe each individual embodies infinite complexity (and that there is no such thing as "Too Much Information"!). I would consider it a sacred honor to serve as a guide and witness as you embark on your healing process. If you want a therapist willing to go as deep as you want and need to, we may be a viable match.
