You may have a "good job," fulfilling relationships, and material needs met, and yet you find yourself wondering in quiet moments whether it is okay to desire more out of life: more authenticity, presence, passion. Therapy is not just for those acute moments of crisis. Psychodynamic psychotherapy can be a catalyst to enrich, illuminate, and deepen the life you already have. I work with folks who are grappling with feeling stuck, inhibited, or stymied by self-sabotage, or simply need a therapeutic witness while they navigate existential twists and turns. If you choose to work with me, I will listen to your story from the very beginning. This orientation at the roots of your life story helps to generate compassion for how you came to occupy your present position, as well as cultivate an awareness that will allow you to make more mindful and aligned choices as the future unfolds. I am also in training to become a psychoanalyst.
